There is a gourd under the feathers and skeleton but I just liked the way the photo came out and decided to keep it.

This painting has had many faces and will be the start to my Arizona work for the next 6 months.

 

"KIWII DANCER" This little creature was made from a gourd. Because a Kiwi bird cannot fly this one has taken up dancing.

"NIGHT SHADOWS" This was painted at the end of the day on paper that had thumb tack punctures added for texture.

STUDIO CHANGE

It is time to turn the page and head back to Calgary, AB for the summer of 2009.

It has been a great winter season here in Arizona and it is always interesting to see what will be in store for the next 6 months in Canada.

The weather will be great but the atmosphere and surroundings will change dramatically. I will continue to blog and show some art updates as to how I spend my time in the art world.
